Something fishy? It’s Aquaponics!

One morning, I woke up withthe word “Aquaponics” in my head…after spending the last few weeks researching and making contact with various experts, I am convinced that aquaponics could offer us an environmentally sustainable system to combat malnutrition in poor rural villages in Guatemala. I am now starting the learning and development phase, where I convert my friend’s backyard fishpond into an aquaponics experiment, and hopefully come up with something we can start building for low-cost using locally available materials.
