Corrina Grace, Founder and Executive Director
Corrina first visited Guatemala in 2007, where she spent 11 months volunteering with an organisation to provide sustainable infrastructure to rural communities. The experience was life-changing, and gave her two key things: an appreciation of how very simple tools and techniques can have meaningful and positive impacts – especially for people in need – and a strong desire to fight the social injustices of climate change. Within 3 months of returning to Australia, she made the decision to move to Central America to continue to help people deal with the challenges they were facing as a result of climate change. In 2009 Corrina moved to Guatemala to start Seres where she has since worked non-stop: building foundations; establishing partnerships with local and international organizations; and working directly with rural communities throughout the region.
A mechanical engineer, Corrina’s skills and experience range from consulting engineering to expertise in the financial and private sector, offshore work with Engineers Without Borders, project and construction management, and an in-depth knowledge of designing, working and living in developing countries. As Executive Director of Seres, she also brings an unwavering dedication to this project – demonstrated by her personal and financial commitment since Seres was launched. Her goal: to turn Seres into a name synonymous with sustainable, thriving, resilient communities around the world.
Jasmin Wall, Youth Outreach Officer

Jasmin Wall is an Early Childhood Teacher from Australia. She taught for nine years in Byron Bay and Sydney, specialising in children with additional needs. Previous to this, Jasmin lived in Brixton, London for four years where she worked as the Early Years Coordinator to improve literacy standards and increase school attendance for disadvantaged children and families from Jamaican and Nigerian decent.
Jasmin became involved in Seres after meeting the Executive Director on one of her promotional visits to Australia in October of 2009. Three months later she moved to Guatemala where she now lives and works. After three months in a volunteering position, finding her feet in both Guatemala and with Seres, Jasmin assumed the role of Youth Outreach Officer in June 2010. She is now working to develop and implement educational programs for youth between the ages of 5 and 25 in Central America: educating and empowering these youth to take an active role in securing a viable, sustainable future.
