Our Mission is to empower people through education: providing the tools and knowledge to help themselves, their families and their communities to not only deal with the impacts of climate change, but also continue to move forward in a way that is sustainable and responsible not just for today, but for the future.
We are currently building the Seres Centre, which will be central hub of knowledge-sharing, networking and education from which we will run our programs and work with communities throughout the Central American region. The Centre will work primarily with poor campesinos from rural communities who are currently feeling the hardship from climatic changes that are happening right now [read more].
While we are building the Seres Centre, our classrooms are directly within the communities. These projects are our on-the-ground tests and trials – where we become the students and the students become the teachers. Through these projects, we are sharing, learning, educating and helping these communities to build their resilience to climate change – and building the foundations for the Seres Centre.
